    Me too a little. I hit Bass Pro. I ordered 300$ worth of jigs ,minnows, ,reels, spare pole, and the 12' pole (I've been wanting for years, but forget about till I'm out on the water). For the crappie. Should all be here tomorrow. I especially cant wait to reach out and drop the jig straight down into the brush piles. I can often see the fish but it's a little tricky at times casting over that little bit letting it drop by them and then getting it back out if they dont bite in time.. I'm envisioning this working awesome!

    Lol. For real..I laughed out loud. I'm still sitting on my butt drinking coffee. Headed for the woods shortly.. not a huge argueing fan though. Mostly because I'm always right and at times have a hard time getting the rest of the world to realize it...ha.ha.ha.

    I view this place as If we were sitting around a table,campfire, etc.. at the end of the day discussing today events. Whether its hunting ,fishing,outdoors ,etc.. As we get to "know" each other often topics switch to politics or family. We also need to remember we are in a public place having these discussions (our kids are in the other room but they can still hear the party) I dont know about most of you, but when someone goes over the line at my place they get warned, then escorted out if necessary. IMHO;)

    I concur. I'm of a mind that we start fresh today.. Foul language and pics dont belong. There are places for both but I dont think this should be one of them.

    A lot more time for scouting this year. Lol. Logged in around 10 miles in and around swamps this week/weekend. I have so many oaks, scrapes ,buckrubs , and beaverdams marked on google maps I cant see the map any more. Lol. I'm going to have to sit down , see some patterns, and come up with a plan now..

    More pics from today's hike. Managed to make it to quite a few islands out in the swamp connected by old and new dams..I cannot wait till this fall.. a lot of promising sign.I'm assuming not alot of hunting pressure .Time will tell. I found it interesting (4th pic)to see a camp built on one of the islands on private land. It is only accessible by a small boat up the creek . I assume they built it in the winter hauling material in over the ice.

    Cool. I just googled them . Though I would say the trees at Letchworth must be chesnut because they were at least 30' tall.

    Ha. Ha. We didnt have any chestnuts. We used butternuts instead. Lol . We were pretty sticky.

    Nice. Is there another NY nut tree that has a similar nut? I have seen a # of these at Letchworth sp and didnt realize what they were.

    Keep you eyes on the program.. Self employed are supposed to be able to draw 1/2 the states average unemployment + the $600 a week.. States, and I'm sure NY have not figure out how to implement this yet.. 1-2 weeks I hear.

    Another piece of public land today. I'm never going to be able to hunt all these spots.,) For those that make it up to black lake fishing . That's a corner/end. In the google pic. Curious if there are fish in the pond. Not sure if I should bring back my trout or bass rig to try.

    Out wandering the woods again.. Looks like someone else likes this spot also. Overlooking a hardwoods swamp with an island out about a 100 yds.. Sitting on the rocks now debating whether I can make it to the island without getting wet.
