  1. This day and age ,what is it that the Democrats have to offer the working middle class ?all they care about now is idolizing criminals, taxing us more ,worrying about special interest groups ,and destroying this country ,like we have seen since the current joke of a presidency has entered in .Old folks need to understand, this ain’t the Democrats of the 70s
  2. That’s where I don’t agree ,we eliminate the constitution,we eliminate our freedoms .
  3. While I agree with you that there are many other topics that are important to this country ,it’s a domino effect .They take one thing ,they will continue to take others .Maybe I came off a bit harsh ,I apologize.but I’ve read some crazy stuff on here from so called “sportsman”.
  4. Im sitting on 700 swamp rats ,I may hold out a bit longer .
  5. Recently over $6 and I see it climbing more .There is a good demand right now
  6. Rats just shot up .Out prices are better than what the Pa auctions results that were posted .not great ,but better .
  7. To give an idea .Yearly I usually trap on avg 12-15 fox off this this section .I usually start second week of November .This year was 22 reds and 4 coyote.I can go back to each spot I trapped and this would be the scene .this was 3 days after I pulled traps .I have never pulled traps just to “leave seed”.no need .This is a mix of fox and coyote tracks .Like said above ,out west ,Ariel gunning ,poison ,government trappers ,fur trappers ,denning ect and still ,year after year limited reduction in the coyote population .
  8. Using a chainsaw and cooking oil in leu of bar oil works great for cutting in ice/water.
  9. Notice that year after year they generally kill the same amount .Meaning more are bred and more filter back in .No population reduction at all .
  10. It drives me crazy when someone says “you saved a bunch of deer by killing that coyote “no ,not really .More will filter in to fill that void .
  11. To even think about making any dent ,they need to be killed during denning ,and on top of that ,in a wide spread area . Most novice predator callers and trappers do nothing but educate many of the coyotes .Going out on a farm killing 3 dogs a season is not crippling the local coyote population.it takes a lot of work to reduce a population down to a size where you will have better fawn survival rate .
  12. Quick story on that deer :I got in the stand ,20 minutes later I caught movement ,waited for a good shot and let it go .Text my buddy(his land )that I just shot one .He not a hunter so he got excited .Next thing I know he’s driving the tractor across the creek and into the woods .He shuts the tractor off ,all the sudden he starts yelling “I hear it ,it’s trying to run away “I’m like WTF to myself .I told him we need to leave and get out of there .I found him 120 yards the next day from where he bed down immediately after 30 yards from the shot .this is how I found it .Needless to say I won’t message him anymore until I have the deer in my hands lol.
  13. Harbor freight Chinese stuff Lol
  14. A few pics of that buck .didn’t know at the time I was going to get it mounted ,or else I wouldn’t have hung it up by the neck.

  16. I have 7 ,I also hunt a plot of 25 acres, plenty of deer to go around and alwys a few nice deer lurking .
  17. I’d have to agree ,that one on the far right isn’t too bad either .All great deer none the less, but that guy doing the work is even better .
