erussell
Anyone ever use this type of camo? Any drawbacks?
NFA-ADK
I have contemplated using it, it looks really good!!! Only draw back I see is others not seeing you or thinking you are a tree, might work well for bow. Main reason I was interested...

dave6x6
Erussell, I am a un-ashamed camo-aholic but i am not a big fan of the camo leaf outfits. To me, they are noisy and they tend to snag on every little twig when your walking through the brush. Also snag when your back is up against the tree. Some people really like them but when i pick out an outfit, i want it to do more then just conceal. Warmth, weather protection, scent control (in some cases) , comfort and concealment are all important. Most of these outfits only excel at the concealment portion and even that is a minimal improvement if at all. jmo.
deerpassion
great for turkey season!!! and absolutely fine for bow.... use them all the time as one a my outfits for the day especiallly to keep cool in the swamp heat down here... really not a noise issue... fasteddie
I end up going through brambles / multi floral roses , etc ... They would get ripped off of me . I had to cut a crap load of thorns today to put up a ladderstand . My hands still hurt . The leafy camo does look neat though .
erussell
Is it made out of some kind of mesh material?
deerpassion
Is it made out of some kind of mesh material? that particular model above doesn't look like it, it looks like a regular jacket/pants combo but with leafy on it.... they do offer different models that are a mesh/screen type style with the leafy on it and even a bug suit that has heavy mesh with the leafy on it called bug tamer.... all these guys worried about bow opening oct 1st and complaining about it being too warm should really think about one a these.....
landtracdeerhunter
I looked at the bug suit leafy camo style for turkey. Didn't think it would hold up that well, very flimsy, and not worth the extra $ ( to me). The regular jacket/pants combo would be well worth the investment, but I've got 3 set of reg. now, well maybe room for a 4th, lol.
