Elmo
Makes me wonder...for personal defense in bear country, you should have at least a 338. How about 60 rounds of 223? Would that take out a charging bear? Hmmm...
Culvercreek hunt club
60@ 55 grains = almost 1/2 a pound as opposed to 1/2 an ounce in 338. if I had the choice of a bolt 338 or this....I think I would take this.
Culvercreek hunt club
It would be expensive to own( the whole multiple rounds of fire from one trigger pull so it is under the special registration with ATF) as well as shoot...but on a cool factor chart of 1-10....I gotta give it a 9 Edited June 14, 2012 by Culvercreek hunt club
Elmo
What would be a cool factor of 10? A photon-phaser?
Culvercreek hunt club
9.5 on that. Battery socks that actually worked are a 10. that and a telportation device (hand held size of course)
NFA-ADK
Nice gun for zombie's. I can not think of anything else I would use it for except for fun at the range... I give it a 8 on the cool scale. Looks like fun... The flir scout is a 9... I would feel like I am cheating though... The upper models get a 10 if they work properly... Nice novelties if you can afford them and they are legal... Pygmy
Hehehehe..Whatever floats your boat... IMHO a Remington Rolling Block in 45-70 with a tang peep would be much more interesting.. I suppose that is because I am an old fart.... The latest auto or selective fire rifles that I find interesting are M-14s and L1A1s, and I really prefer Garand M1s to both of them.... YAWN...I think it's time for my nap.
erussell
Looks like someone had some extra money and time to kill, to me. Not at all practical from a combat point of view. There are far more effective weapons systems out there than this. For personal protection i dont get it either. Nothing better than a 12 gauge short barrel with extended magazine tube. Everyone knows the universal sound of a shell being jacked into a 12 gauge means that if you dont belong here you need to get the F out of here in a hurry!!!
