In the latest Sportsman's Guide Catalog there are over 20 Crossbows for sale ---- Horton , Barnett , Carbon Express , PSE , etc .. They range from $270 to $900 ..............

No ..... the best speed is just over 400 fps . If they get them up around 500 fps , maybe i'll get one . Just posted the info in case someone is interested . The Barnett "Ghost" is the most expensive in the Guide .

I am only 70 so I don't need a crossbow ....... yet .

Goodness Gracious ...... I hope you aren't comparing a rifle to a crossbow !

However , for those of you that don't care to argue , there are several crossbows for sale in the Guide . They were having Free Shipping for anything over $125 for a while so you might want to take advantage of that offer .

Would have gotten mine there had I not had so much in reward cash for Gander Mnt....SG has always been good especially if returns are needed

Nice prices. I think that the guide is mistaken. They have the crossbows listed under archery equipment.

Nope, Sportsmans Guide is just smarter than NYS at this point....

The latest issue also has a crap load of Trail Cameras , treestands , hunting clothes , etc .

And also im sure it has plenty of C'mere deer, salt licks, deer cain and other stuff too

I have bought quite a bit of stuff from there. I have had good luck with their Guige Gear line except for the rubber pack boots. They deteriorate quickly and I tried twice but couldn't get a full season out of them without cracking.
