growalot
reminded me Of the old war movies and London being bombed....The sky was lit of constantly and you could smell the ozone in the air...lots and lots of much needed rain...more due today...popped open all the ground hog radish seed and has the rye coming in nicely...it could have washed away the plots and I'd be OK...we really need the rain and more of it.....I wouldn't mind hunting in Oct. to light drizzles and foggy weather....those days have always been very productive for me....keeps the bugs down too...lol

landtracdeerhunter
We're still dry. Rototilled 2 acres last night and the dust was flying. Lightning to the north, not enough to chase me out of field. We just got enough to wet the ground at 2 today. It refuses to rain. Figured to get the ground worked to absorb more moisture. Still waiting. Dust bowl anyone? Edited August 10, 2012 by landtracdeerhunter
