Big Long Island Buck

While hiking today with my girlfriend i spotted this real nice buck eating about 30 yards right off the trail. I can't hunt this spot but i do shed hunt it and hope to pickup his sheds this winter. He was also with a 10 point about the same size but i couldn't get any pics of him.

Was out in one of the parks where there is no hunting.

Well that would explain how he got that big. No biggy on the no hunting, just get permission outside the park and have your girlfriend push him I mean drive him out of the park to you. If anyone asks, your helping keep the population in the park under control.

I've seen a couple like that at Robert Moses State park, although your picture don't look like that park since it's way more wooded. I posted some video I shot at Robert Moses a good many years back for Geno on the thread below last year. Won't see deer like that in other parts of the state as easily.
