ants
Anyone ever try this??? If so how is it done? The wife wants to try it but I thought you need some kind of special holder for the can & bird. Thanks
Paula
yes we have on grill on in oven also with coke. empty no drink a bit of it and prop it up. i have wrapped tip if wings and legs just so they don't burn. comes our moist. i now have a ceramic dish that look like a volcano ( like the big drinks that you get at Chinese restaurants) for the oven comes out very moist, worth trying it Edited September 3, 2012 by paula

Fletch
You can do with or with out a holder but it is a lot easier with a can holder. I take a piece of kitchen twine and just put a tie around the body to hold the wings to the body to keep from burning. Drink half the beer or soda and rinse and pat dry the bird I rub on a bit of evo and some rub. Check with a thermometer for doneness. Simple and very tasty.
