I have a Ruger Red Label O/U 20 ga. that I would like to sell. It is in excellent condition: price...$1000 cash only.

Thats a fine gun, little heavy but fine. One of my buddie's had one in 12 that I wanted to buy but the timing wasn't right.

It is not uncommon to find used Red Label 12 ga. guns for $900 - $1200. 20 ga. Red Labels generally bring higher prices. $!000 for my gun is a GOOD DEAL!

This gun is no longer for sale. It appears that Ruger has discontinued all shotgun production. I will hang onto this one as the price escalates.

Yes they did a year or so ago I think. They will no doubt re-start production at some point down the road but it was due to lack of sales in the line (probaly from over pricing), mean while their other lines took off like a rocket and they actualy had to stop taking orders in March. Business is good for them and I would expect to see a return to production of Red Labels as they have said on their web site.

Don't think you will see the same red label if it returns

the sales did drop but it was also one of Ruger's most expensive if not the most expensive guns to manufacture

so if they do come back out with the "Red Label" I would not be suprised if it were redesigned

not saying it would not be as good just not the same

I didn't know red labels weren't being produced anymore. I love my ruger 20ga. It is a great gun and I love it just as much as my beretta

yup they discontinued the red label I believe 1st quarter of 2011

they made it into the 2011 catalog & if I recall it was discontinued shortly after
