Hear ya...I am a little hunted out but I was putting away my muzzle loader this morning and I found myself checking out my turkey gun and seeing what kind of ammo I have left for it. We're a sick bunch LOL!!

that's the first thing i thought of after gettin back to the truck last night! i get asked all the time if you had to only hunt one species of game for the rest of your life what would it be? well dam it i can't give you an answer on that! lol.... nothin like a struttin tom gobblin his head off in front of you, give's me palpatations ! but then again there's nothing like flingin an arrow at a whitetail, which i'll give you dam near a heart attack.... i choose both haha... how many more days till that thunder hits you in the chest in the early morning? can't wait....

Seen a few birds in a corn field yesterday. Nice to see a turkey again, since October 18th, LOL.

Should be a great year as poult survival was very good! Should be plenty of Jakes although older birds will be tougher to come by. The next few years should be very good hunting.

Deer season I was seeing multiple flocks, some numbering over 50 birds... This winter should be mild enough to date to keep them going strong...
