3-D archery shoots/Indoor leagues

Does anyone know of any places to shoot the bow during the winter? not looking for any competition just some practice time.

Where are you located? Check out your local rod and gun clubs to see if they have an indoor range. I plan on doing a couple of 3d shoots this year with a buddy. Here's the website http://pennyork3darchery.com/

They do these pretty much everywhere, just have to find them.

Extreme archery in larch mount, westcheter county has a 20 yard indoor range. The have leagues I believe

Try Allied sportsman club on Clinton st. Marilla or Alden rod & gun club on County/Lapp rd in Alden. Gander mt. has an indoor range in Tonawanda also. Hawkeye bowman also on Clinton st.in Marilla.

There isa traveling 3D league on the Niagara Frontier , you might find something on hunting WNY or the Erie County Conservation Society websie .

Doc's Archery in North Tonawanda has a winter league starting up next week. Its a three man team event, but he will slot you into a team. Its the Technohunt, a video screen at 20 yds, but still a lot of fun. I think 4 different "trips" rotate through for the next 10 weeks, including africa. After the winter league is the spring league, also a 3 man team, but the summer league is individual. $10 each time to shoot.

Allied SportsmanClub usually has a Thursday night indoor league. Great set up, uses moving targets, blinds, screen shots, etc. Really chalanges the shooter. Runs 10 weeks about $8/wk. Keeps you shooting all winter long.

Do you have to sign up or just show up?

You can probably just show up around 6 pm. I haven't been able to shoot it in 2 years so you might want to call first. More fun if you show up with friends. I'll try to send you a pm with a contact.( not sure if its ok to post names and # onthis site)
