DEC Bowhunter's Sightings Log

I have done the log for many years and did not have mine from this year yet so shot them an email. We will see what I hear.

On the other topic... Not to give the DEC excuses but I imagine being at about half staff after what about a decade now of no hiring and pushing layoffs and all the budget bs I am sure they are spread thin. They do have a history of poor comunication though.

Like I said in another post , I got the survey in the mail a few minutes ago . It was postmarked Sept 28 . The day before I started my whining !

I got an email back from them, Ed, in three hours. Said it was mailed last week and if I did not see it by tomorrow to shoot him an email and he would send another.

I e-mailed this morning, Had a response by 3:00 this afternoon. Ed told me the log and information were in the mail already.

I cannot e-mail the DEC because it wants me to install a different Mail System ........

I would call them directly. Downloading such a program may harm your computer.

Others are different sightings data, a summary and a map.

I received mine the other day . The day before that I received a ten year sighting log participation patch.Made me feel proud.

I just got my first log today in the mail.

Got mine Saturday. I gotta be around 10 years doing it as well.

Got my 1st bowhunters log today. Now just gotta' wait til' the 16th. I've been seeing lots of deer and the turkeys have eluded me thus far.
