Im on there, no longer at that address though.

I filled out my privacy form for my permit yesterday. I wont be on any new lists.

Same here. Not the correct address anymore and I also filled out my form and sent it in. Cant wait to hear back. Will probably take 6 months to a year just like the whole pistol permit process.

I read the FOIL form but didn't file it.

You should write to your state legislator and press them into making it so the pistol permit information can not be handed out to be put on these list, this is where the paper got the information to publish all of the names and addresses of pistol permint holders down by NYC. If Ilived in New York I'd be all over it and get every one that has a gun to write letters in as well.

You can already fill out a form that requests your info be private and turn it in. My county is making everyone do it. To make any change to your permit (add or remove a gun, buy purchase coupons, change address, etc) you have to fill out the form either requesting your info be private or saying that you dont care to make the request.

BTW, you agreed to your info being public when you applied for your permit, most people just dont read the fine print.

Same here. Westchester count sent me the form. I didn't fill out though.
