No, but there was a big snapper in the side yard, not too far from that spot, a few weeks ago.

That appears to be a ping pong  ball.  Thanks for the tip.   I located some other evidence in the pool supply box (red solo cups).  Apparently, there was some beer-pong action going on, when the kids had friends over the other night.  

 

I also found a full Miller lite in the grass back by the fire pit the next morning.  I’ll drink that in a pinch, if I run out of Genny:

That appears to be a ping pong  ball.  Thanks for the tip.   I located some other evidence in the pool supply box (red solo cups).  Apparently, there was some beer-pong action going on, when the kids had friends over the other night.

I like that.  My current deck is about 8' from the pool but like yours, probably around 16" lower than the top of the pool.  Was thinking about running 2x10's on top of the current deck up to the pool.

that's funny my 12th was this sunday too. my mom got exposed so nobody could watch the kids and our anniversary dinner was cheeseburgers with the kids haha.

i don't understand some of you old crotchity guys. My kids our in my pool for hours almost every day in the summer. Makes for cheap birthday parties and I have no complaints watching the wife sunbathe out there. Sure there's a little more electric cost, some cost for chemicals and opening and closing and an hour or so of maintenance a week (inground). 

Well worth it for anyone with kids and honestly I'd have one without the kids. Nothing sweeter than a cold beer and a nice dip in the pool after doing yard work in the summer.

Lots of research shows the positives of mental health even just looking at the pool daily even if you don't swim. It makes people happy/upbeat.

Lol, We were going to go out to dinner, but decided to make blu cheese bacon burgers and stuffed mushrooms.
