TeeBugg
Figured i would ask. Ive got a primos gobbler call but i rarely have used it. Thinking maybe it can be the call i need to locate a tom during this late season. Any thoughts? Also thought about using it and setting up a hen and jake decoy to add to the gobbler call.....thoughts?
Hunting3m
I had a huge tom come to me from across the property in literally a minute with that when all the turkeys were silent, but then again ive tried it this season and not a thing. I guess it wont hurt to try

asav2013
IV read that late season now toms are grouping back up with other toms, gobbles and male sounds like mock fights etc work best because alot of the toms are looking to flock back up for the summer and figure out the chain of command in the flock

Deerthug
Tried a gobbler call this morning to bring a hung up gobbler closer. He was liking my hen yelps but the gobbler call turned him off and he skeddadled into the woods. Guess what call I wont be using anymore? landtracdeerhunter
I still like a hen call, all season. If Tommy has girl friends already, gona be tough with anything. My peacock call seems to be still effective for locating.
