A Year Near Raquette Lake

[Five Seasons]

Last August a little less than a year ago I put out this older Bushnell camera. It takes beautiful pictures and with just 8 energizer max still had quite a bit of battery left. Over 1200 pictures, only 2 humans (in March in the snow and one of the 2 with a bow which was super odd). 2 bucks and a doe(s). But here are some highlights I thought you all would enjoy.

You would think.  They are as big as the bear in the previous pic.

They def have more wolf DNA than some of the yotes we have down in the southern part of the state.

Interesting angle I guess. His front half looked to thick and stocky for a fisher.

I've seen a bunch of fisher in 8F and this guy is much larger and fluffier... but it's also a lot colder up there. My guess was also fisher, but if someone smarter than me told me otherwise I wouldn't argue.

thought the time was interesting in the pics.  That the fisher or black kitty that went thru was 1 minute ahead of the bear.  Lol  prob getting out of his way!
