Nomad
I went through my old newspapers today. One year after 50,000 fellow FF's went to NYC for the memorial. It was the best of times and the worst of times. Shared beers and tears with guys form around the world. Marched in the rain and stould outside MSG in the rain as all 343 names were read. A few years later went to FDNY 's officer school for a month, met a lot of great guys, did not press them on the subject , but many there lost close friends and a few family members. Embrace life every minute you don't know what the next minute brings. Thanks for postings this.

And lets not forget the other 3000 or so people who died that day just for showing up at work.
