agross
He looks like he is broken up on his right side in that close up pic. Doesn't that mean you are supposed to pass him for the year? Well at least that's what the guys on TV do. Ha. great buck.
QB1
How many times have you all been in there to check cams? Its my cam but I haven't been the one pulling the card. The topic of staying out of the woods was discussed internally with the 3 other guys I hunt with several weeks ago. One of the guys in our group pretty much runs the show, its his in laws land and him and his wife just moved in to the in laws which is right on the 300 acres we hunt. He says there are horses being rode through the land, dogs being walked, fields being plowed so deer are used to human scent. I still think regardless we should be careful how often we enter the woods. Its a no win argument for me, he's gonna do what he wants. Now I could tell him not to pull my cards but then again if he's going in anyway I'm not going to argue...plus I think if I told him not to he would anyway. He likes to do things his own way and I like to hunt this property so I don't complain all that much. There are all sorts of topics I could rant about which I am sure anyone who is in a "hunt club" can understand. I try and just go with the flow and not cause any waves. We had built in stand on a tree that gives about a 35-40 yds shot to the pear tree. One of my ladders was moved this weekend to a closer tree to offer a better shot, I was late to the property, wasn't asked if my stand could be moved but I really didn't care I think I sat in the previous location once all of last year, again not making a big deal just go with the flow. I will give you one guess to who is sitting in that stand opening day (Clue, its not me)
