I'd age him at....hmmm.... Soon to be dead , hard to age from a head on view, id guess 3-4 years old right around 110", has short tines, which kills his score,

Bow only, except for roses marsh. 500 ft from residence,school, or building. This location is legal. Talked to a DEC officer while fishing and bought a map at the town hall. But thanks for the heads up, you never know.

I would think 3 1/2.  If you take him see if he has a wound on the opposite side.

if hes in the top 20% you have in your area , take him... scores all all subjective. he might be the best available, or the biggest you've taken. what your happy with... guess 3.5 now hard to tell dark pic.and no body to judge....

Nice buck. Looks like he broke his antler during velvet and it hardened like that. My buddy shot one really similar and that's what the taxidermist thought happened. Tough to tell on age, but I would say no older than 3. If you like him, take him. Score wise, wouldn't do much with that odd side. Maybe 100-105"
