8f hunters! Any predictions for this weekend?

Any thoughts? Im hoping it picks up a bit. Cooler temps mixed with some light rain...could be the perfect combination!

A friend that hunts state land on 8F has seen deer almost everytime he has been out.Always a little to far away for his taste!

You need to be in the woods. bunch of rain and some temp drops. pre-rut. get to bed early and hunt the mornings and 1 or maybe even both afternoons.

I might try Walworth in the am . No sense in driving to Geneseo just to hunt the am .

From the trail cam pics ( oops ! shouldn't mention that ) , the deer seem to travel in cycles . Actually , I should wait until Tuesday am for them to return .

Thats how it seems here. They come thru in a cycle. Except for one spot...always seeing deer there. Its my ground spot and its fun...but hard to hunt. I keep doing it though with hopes of whacking one!

I'd probably have better luck hunting along Rt 104 between Ontario and Bay Rd Exit in Webster . A fair amount of Road Kill there .

plenty in ontario.

 

looking a little more at the weather it doesn't look to appealing. But not bad enough to stop the deer from moving. I'd be more apt to save your all day hunts for another week or 2. Don't make hunting a chore where you're just wet, cold and miserable.

Just grab one of them roadkills and ya dont even have to get wet,sore tired,birdox in the pants.....
