Five Seasons
No you don't ..... or at least I don't. Tell me, how does stomach contents taste? .... lol. Not everybody considers the same parts of a deer edible as the next guy. Yes we pick and chose. I don't eat kidneys .... some do. Am I wasting venison? Probably so, and to me it's ok. Some guys don't want to pick and pick at the neck until every last piece of meat is gotten, I fully understand that. Somebody doesn't like liver or heart, that's up to them and their likes and dislikes (I happen to like liver and heart). come on doc. You know exactly what I meant. If you have no problem with a guy wasting 95% of the edidle parts of the deer then that's your view. Mine is that when possible a hunter should do his or her best to use as much as the deer as possible. I think most hunters agree on what is common to save. Some go the extra mile with certain organs. Personally I do not eat heart or liver. But I've never had someone give me a hard time about that. I do however donate these organs to a local woman who raises wolves. The hide is sold by the butcher and I eat the rest. I think that's doing the animal justice. And I'm pretty sure others feel the same. That's how you feel about crossbows as well right? Can we stop de-railing ants' thread, I'm not done with him yet. Five Seasons
there has never been a scientific accurate study on crossbows done. lets bring ARs into this. we haven't done that yet.

Because your 95% estimate of "approved" meat is scientifically accurate right? Five Seasons
Can someone stomp on this flaming bag of dog turd to put it out? can't stop now. it's a trainwreck that you cant look away from. Because your 95% estimate of "approved" meat is scientifically accurate right? X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems so when we're talking "meat". not organs or oddball organs like his donk. What I throw away is the ribs and perhaps some scraps in the lower legs and inner stomach linings. the deer is harvested and if i weighed all the meat i toss versus keep. i bet it's close to 95%. maybe ill do the study next deer i shoot for you. Come on Belo, we all know you're all talk, and not capable of crunching those numbers. Even if you were, you'll somehow mess with the parameters to favor your argument. Be honest with yourself. So is the heart a muscle, or an organ? Is it meat? X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
steve863
It's so funny. We have Belo and Shawnhu going at it on every thread it seems. LOL I think we need to put them in a steel cage and let them go at each other in there. They can rip out their choice parts from each other, and maybe some organ meats, too. LOL

steve863
Good luck setting the rules for that one, they will never agree to any! There are no rules, Doe. They can eat each others ribs, livers, etc. if they want. Bring in any weapon they want, where the can make head, lung, gut shots. Anything goes in there! Doewhacker
My money is on Shawnhu, only because I can see Belo waiting for a perfect chance at the vitals while shawnhu will most likely get him with a head shot quickly.
