Although we worked different shifts ,and he was on the wrong side of the city , he always had a smile and a strong handshake for me . A great FF, father , and very active in the community, two sons on the job and I believe two brothers . Just a guy who everyone knew and loved , yes named after the singer, as his mom , an assistant DA loved Elvis . Also he was a minor league baseball player , prior to the FD .

We believe a blood clot let loose while home recovering from surgery from an on the job injury , I understand one of our engine co responded to his house , that must have been very hard on the brothers .  Just a shock for so many , a truly great ,man .
