This camera was in the woods at least 7 months in the woods. First bear for me on camera. Also this nice buck. Crazy thing I never was able to hunt this property.

Young bear, likely kicked out by mom this year. They wander a lot looking for food sources. He could have been ten miles away the next day. One stray pic of a critter is cool, but it does not tell you they are residents in the area.

Yes a young bear  looks a bit too young to be on its own. I think the camera missed picts of Mama. Cubs stay with Mom for 2 years. JMO, it could be on its own for some reason, never know.

Personally, I don’t have have a need to hunt bears.

I can still hunted this property. I just don’t want to drive 2.50 hours to my in-laws. Have noticed the bucks in this area have more age than the places I hunt closer to my house. That may change this year.
