60 years ago today

JFK was assassinated . I was only 6 years old but I can still remember my mother sitting on the couch crying .

I was almost 5, and believe it or not, from such a young age I have similar memories, even though they are vague.

Oh yeah….. I can still remember the clippity clop of the horse drawn carriage during the funeral procession. I remember little John John saluting. Not sure if color tv was available at that time but we only had black and white.

I had just got out of the Marine Corps a couple months earlier and started working at Xerox in Webster . They announced the shooting over the speakers . The whole plant went silent .

It's been 60 years and the govt still has a clamp on the records and evidece it has in the Top Secret files.  What does that tell you?

I was 13 and sitting in Ms. Barrow's  6th period study hall when the news came over the school PA system...
