Never been able to consistently catch crappy, usually just catch one in a blue moon, but when I do they are monsters.

 

My biggest was 16 3/4" 3 lbs and I caught a few that weren't much smaller.

Holy crappie. Nice catch. Used to hit them like that in the summer on Plymouth Reservoir outside of Norwich when I was a kid. Gramps taught me how to jig for them. Miss those days.

LOL Lawdwaz. Yes, he caught them by his self. I told him I use to have luck with crappies right before dark.
