Mt Morris/Leicester NY Dining??????

What do you guys/gals know about the Questa Lasagna in Mt Morris or the National Hotel in Leicester??

 

 

If'n you had to choose, what would it be??

 

Or...........if you haven't been to both, how was your experience at either??

I like TripAdvisor. Use it for most everything.

I would go with the place in Mt. Morris

The National Hotel in Leicester has always had excellent food . I have eaten there on several occasions .

Don't need to look it up, been there lots of times back in the late 80's and 90's. We will be in Perry and thought about doing one of the other two mentioned.

The National Hotel in Leicester has always had excellent food . I have eaten there on several occasions .

 

On Tripadvisor there was only 10 reviews for this place, i understand that doesn't mean much. Seemed like the reviews were mostly on the great historical building and the nice little town. 

The place in Mt. Morris had 100 reviews with 2 bad, one being bad service and other being not Italian food.

I go with the National. Great food and a lot more choices on the menu.  Now, if the weather is nice and you want to eat outside by the water, I'd recommend the Beach Comber on Conesus Lake.  Just another 20 mins to the east and a neat place to visit in the summer.

THe Yard of Ale is in Piffard . I used to live about 200 yards from there when it was the Colonial Inn .

I second the Beachcomber. They have great food. Was just there a couple of weekends ago, though it was more for the drinks...

Jack Corris used to own the Beach Comber . His red headed daughter Margie went to our school in Geneseo for one year ( Freshman ) . She was a knockout !

The reservation is made for the Questa Lasagna.  Thank you ALL for the input, I'll report back with a review.

Dinner was great! Certainly not what I was expecting........wonderful service, ambiance and food made it highly enjoyable.

I'd recommend it in a heart beat if you are in the area. They are located on the east side of Main St, just at the intersection where you turn east to head to the 390.
