growalot
Yep going to get some jobs done in these warm temps...I have the materials for the blind windows ...so all I need do is cut and miter the corners so I can clue and screw frames together ...I cut the steel for the blind window frames and after stretching the vinyl all I need do is clue and staple the magnet strips to the windows......This should work slick...I will be able to qiuetly postion the window to what ever size opening I want blocking wind, rain,or snow while still being able to hear whats coming in as well as see them. if it needs be down all the way I will have a string attached to either upper corner that will allow them to hang just under the sill. Wash the dog, finish the coop cleaning, finish the winterizing of garden ,paint some windows...eegads got to run ....

growalot
Ahhh no time for either...I need to go take a typing lesson Dang I went down there with the SS strips ,cooler,light,ect...and a mouse had broke in...he got in but couldn't get back out and was chewing through the wood frame around the door... Well he tried running...but I still have some moves...stomp! one down...I'll have to get out the poison All of the flip up storms are set....... nailed window one strip down. yep that will work goodand the roofing nails are magnet attracting...now the only problem I fore see...other than stink bugs and moths..... is in the spring I will have to lift the front of the blind with the tractor bucket or just jack it up...for the concrete slabs I have it on have sunk some...no I never concrete an poles in...other then fence. Once you do that they can try to call them permanent buildings, which are taxable or need permits.

growalot
Ya the windows work slick!...I completed one then went down to check it out...hangs well I may add an extra strip of magnet . I learned putting the magnet strips on the SS around window then pressing frame to the sticky side will work the best. pulled cam cards on the way out...lots of doe and they are bedding on and off all night right infront of my other blind...there isn't a single pic of a buck now...at any of the plots or trails they use...hhmmmm

growalot
I will when completed...I've bored you guys enough...besides I was short enough wood and have 2 window frames to cut.....I had to order more magnets..which won't get here until the 16th -20th........I did have an issue pop up I fixed today...this blind having the sun beating down on the paint shrunk one panel leaving a 1/4 in. gap on a side wall seam..but it was taped. Then I stapled a 4in strip of left over roofing rubber from the window sill to the decking along the frame.....no problem...it had rained a good part of the night with a good wind...no wet spots any where and the rug was dry so....sealing and storm flaps with the windows work...and a quick storm came through...you get no wind from the windows and the magnetic seal held up against the gusts. I finally got the limbs cut for a stand I have wanted to put up...my planned ash died this summer , I had to find another tree...its up with tied downs but the stablizer bar is too short and rusted ...didn't have my tools to I will take another spare bare down tomorrow...this is what I want for the first week of November so I have time it's just back from a corner and 10 yrds from a well used trail.
