It isn't Bethpage where they regulate it. Tips or nothing here. We have so many reverse sandbaggers come into work " I hit it 280, I'm a 10 handicap ". Trackman with driver says 227. " you're machine must be off". Yup , 25 grand fitting studio and it's off lol.

Yup. Golf retail for 27 years now. Quit playing competitively in 09 ( as amateur) to spend more time with family. Played once this year in a scramble, 2 scrambles last year and none 3 years prior. Days off , vacation days are mostly to hunt n fish with daughter now and family vacations. Plus 1 handicap when I quit. Best decision I've ever made. Couple years I'm eligible for the senior tour lol.

Winter rules? I can't tell you how many people I've played who "shoot in the 80s" then take a mulligan of gimme 3-4 footers. I play straight up and putt everything out. I avged 89 and change last year on 127 slope. Not bad for playing 14-17 rounds per year. I know if I worked year round I could get under 80 consistently but I don't have the drive to do so.

Btw, for those who want Bethpage Black Rez cheat sheet. Here it is. Took me 37 calls before getting through at 707pm for a 12:42pm tee time next Sunday. Of course, you have to be registered in system multiple days before doing this.

Biz , you get out this way again and we're easily on any private club in the area fo free. Many connections for some great tracks Playing the big boy tees however

Last time I played golf was 3 years ago an shot a 92. The time before that was 3 years before that date. I have a $800 set of Calloway clubs in my garage collecting dust.. I'm a natural golfer and spank it 250 yards but I'm happy Gilmore when putting. Just not a fan of the sport takes way to long..

Yea thx! Bethpage is NYS course so it's all automated. People sleep out night before in hopes of getting on with cancellations. Only 1 tee box at Bethpage. It's a beast. Last year harder than normal since i played it 2 weeks before Barclays PGA Tourney.

No carts allowed either, so it as long day and lot of walking.
