Another nut job being stupid. If  the USA would make a universal law that the punishment for murder in cold blood is the death penalty no questions asked, I think crimes like this would go down by a pretty large percentage. IMO that is.

I don't think those that commit such crimes give the punishment they might receive any thought. In order to do such things I would believe that they suffer from some sort of mental illness which would make rational thoughts about what they were undertaking, and what might happen to them, extremely unlikely.

This idiot had his wits about him. He picked up fares between killing people.

But hey, you keep keep protecting people saying all these DB's have a mental illness. It helps them win mental illness cases and get away with cold blooded murder. If that lets you sleep good at night so be it.

There was nothing stupid about Hitler or Mussolini. They were very calculating and intelligent. Yet they committed atrocities that were beyond calculation. It was genocide.

You think Jack the ripper was stupid? He used a surgeons knowledge to do his deeds.

 

You think the terrorist people are stupid or have a mental illness? If so then you need to be the one on Prozac. They are cold, cunning, calculated, and do what they do to ensure they inflict terror in the hearts on our nation. You think those "kids" didn't know what they were doing when they hacked the head off a US reporter and kicked it around?

I agree rob, killers are generally not stupid, and in most cases not even mentally ill. Now-a-days we tend to label everyone mentally ill when it doesn't suit our definition of sanity, but some could say Einstein was mentally ill as well. It's all about what one does with the knowledge they possess, for good, or for evil.

I think that if certain people on this forum had the power that Hitler had, genocide would not be out of their realm of possibilities.

I think Cuomo will do anything to further his career. This guy mentally or not killed innocent people, and treated as a murder. Once someone kills I don't care what caused them to do it, or what they used to do it. The courts have to stop the sympathy for criminals BS. You take a life Nuts or not same sentence for all. Stop the plea bargains and deals. Life without parole or death doesn't matter to me.

No, there are professional's however the "hired guns" don't go around killing innocent people

Do you think before you speak/type? We are talking about a person that knowingly picked up a gun and killed people.

 

If someone was driving down the road and starting veering off the road running people over on purpose would it make it any different?

My point is that the person is just as mentally stable as anyone not in a mental institute. If you picked up a gun and started killing people you made a conscious decision to do it. That doesn't make you mentally ill, it just means you made a bad decision and should be held accountable for it. This mentally ill argument the media and politicians are throwing around means nothing it is a stay out of jail free card.

Rob..where did that out burst come from? I didn't run anywhere...I didn't realize there was a set time limit on making resonance to ones own post. Thanks for pointing out that apparent negligence ...out of nowhere.

More and more people are committing severe crimes because they can get away with it due to the American Republic. He/she was unstable. This moron picked up a gun, drove around and shot and killed several people. That was premeditated. That couple in CA went in with bombs, full tactical gear and killed many people, premeditated.

Both were calculated. If you think different, then you need your guns taken away because you have a mental disability of watching the Disney Channel too much.

Isn't that how the legal system works, innocent until proven guilty? 

 

I am giving this guy the benefit of the doubt saying he was living a normal life until he started shooting people. Like I said "mental illness" is the new buzz word to help those that are committing crimes get that insanity plea and don't end up incarcerated for life. Or to take away peoples guns either way it is a loose loose for your average citizen.
