Not hunting related . Had a female Piliated woodpecker and a Baltimore Oriole show a while ago

Throw some oranges cut in half or grape jelly out on a feeder. Inlaws get a bunch of Orioles

Very cool…I had two chickadees get their heads stuck in one of those suet cages last summer. I got them out Ok, but both times my wife freaked out like she was looking at a baby stranded on the fire escape of a burning building!!!!

It's funny she scrapes the excess suet off the side of her beak .

I never thought that a Pileated Woodpecker would feed off a feeder?

They seem to like the suet . I usually hear them before seeing them . The female comes more often than the male . They have been coming around for about 3 years .

Pretty cool to see the wide variety at your feeders and a good opportunity for you to document them with the camera!

Took the pictures through the window pane . I might even have to wash my windows to get better pictures .

Nice pictures and videos. The Piliated Woodpecker, Orioles, Blue Birds, and Evening Grosbeakes are the four birds that always caused excitement at my house when they showed up to the feeders. Now, that I live in the city, I only get to see the woodpeckers and orioles.

We get the Gross Beaks , Blue Jays and Cardinals regularly . I havn't seen any Humming Birds yet this year .
