It faught good, took a live pin fish. Tomorrow out on a party boat for grouper and snapper.

Awesome! I've always heard honeymoon and caladesi have great snook fishing on the beach in June!

Thats a big sailcat! Never seen one so big.

It's actually a hard head cat. Sail cats get pretty big, I've caught some off pier 60 that where significantly bigger than this guy.

Nice - did you take the ferry over to Caladesi or private boat? We were trying to get out there last month but the schedule didn't work out when we were down there.

 

I did get out an catch a few fish out of Clearwater Beach.

We rented 2 double kayaks for the day and paddled out. I had something big pull my new bait casting combo over the rail on pier 60 the 2nd day there. I had a 6" pin fish on. A nice guy next to me snagged my line before we lost site of it and reeled it up. That's what I get for putting it down to help my son I guess.lol.

You have to be careful down there. Ive seen way too many rods be taken over the rails at pier 60 and other piers in the area. I believe its usually sharks that do that.

From the bite mark on my pin fish I was told it appeared to have been a king mackerel.

If you make the width more than the height , it should show properly .
