Rabbit hunt

Finally was able to get bones out. Went out to Wyoming county.

great looking dogs, just love hunting rabbits...use to raise and train begels. I have COPD so I had to let the dogs go and now just watch. Two guys were working 2 dogs yesterday off of Swart hollow road. I could hear the dogs running a rabbit. Sure sounded great.

Nice looking dogs, I used hunt rabbits with beagle hounds when I was a kid. I miss it, lotta fun. I take my terrier out with me in the woods , she wants to kill chipmunks squirrels etc. she's very prey driven. She even got a rabbit once but I got it out of her mouth before she did any damage.

The more you get him out, the better he'll become..   Great thing about beagles is that they require no real training.. You just get them around rabbits and let nature take it's course

Took them out again. Didn't get a shot at anything. But i seen 2fox twice, I think I seen the den. Bones was in tall grass and kicked up a few deer, I believe he just about stepped on a fawn! Didn't faze him at all! It was a good day

Didn't see any rabbit but we spooked a spike, Bones once again ignored it. Otis seen him and didn't react at all!

Who had more fun, you or the dogs? Probably a toss up, I'd say? Great stuff for sure! Love the sound of a beagle on a rabbit's scent trail! HOWWWOOOOOOO........
