Love the strutter in 2nd video. 

Pic of 7 birds I took yesterday. The upper field up above is not property I can hunt but that open field up above is the one I call birds across. Brother owns property to right side of both lower and upper fields. Set my dekes on line. They clear the line and it's kaboom time. Already counting the days til youth hunt   Notice almost dead center in pic and just a little higher the deer shack on stilts. Haven't heard a shot from there in years and not sure if anyone actually uses it anymore

TurkeyFeathers- Love what I am seeing on that land!! Decoys on the line is a great idea. I have called a tom from New York and into New Jersey and just sat back a good 50 yards from the line.

my lucky tree. 13 birds from sitting against it. My view too 32 yards from field edge. That's neat you called birds across state lines.

I live in arcade. Use to live in bliss. I have hunted a lot of land in both areas. Can't  put my finger on wher exactly but those fields look familiar . I will probably have the location pop into my head in a while and have an aha moment.

I worked in the wood lot for 7 hours today as I was dragging myself home...I heard a hen talking...So I stopped and answered...we talked a bit and then she wondered off in the direction of where I'd been working...The leaf cover was all torn up there so she probably went to check it out. What a nice way rto end one's the day...Nice to see they are  returning to that particular area again. Makes my soreness less bothersome.

So it was : a nice way to end one's day ...That was the result of a complete Kindle change I was trying to fix...Thank heavens the charging port is on it's last leg...lol

welcome to the technology of today.  i'm sure a lot of us type errors with modern devices, not indicative of our intelligence.  it's an online forum though.  not like we're writing articles to be published in something.  it's all good.

Oh but it is! If I were truly intelligent...I'd thrown the dang thing out the window months ago...I of course make errors, I've typed entire sentences backwards ..I have a thing with reversing letters. When tired , on the phone or a couple of sites at a time...I sometimes don't bother looking up at the Computers auto correct for those red squiggly lines or check my proper usage...

The Kindle though...Holy Crud! I spend more time correcting and re-correcting completely illogical sentences it produces. When I KNOW I typed the words correctly before hitting send......It's always had an auto correct issue...it's just gotten worse...I am too cheap to buy a new device...That Kindle needs to die first...the rotation on screen has quit, the auto correct is worse, and the charging plug is about dead......My daughter tells me the new ones are fantastic...she just replaced her boyfriends at Christmas. She had purchased both of ours at the same time...his died first...5yrs..didn't seem that long...That's pretty old in electronic years I suppose.

I was just looking through all the warm summer pictures and views from my blinds.... A little less than 3 mos. to go...less for some of us...It felt good to talk to a hen the other day...We usually don't hear or see them until early April up hear...I must be doing something right in combo with the weather...I can hardly wait!

Spring is here. Listening to the robins sing in the dark hours of dawn right now. Can't wait to be sitting in the woods hearing this awaiting that first gobble. I literally have goose bumps right now !
