DirtTime
I really don't know where to post this, so here it is. If you are within 30 minutes of me ( more then that will kill the fish ), I have an algae eater that is 6+", if you have a Koi Pond or a 50+gallon tank let me know. Free if you can pick him up. DirtTime
Bump! No one has a pond or tank for this fish? 100% healthy, just too big for my 20 gallon tank.
Adkhunter1590
My neighbor has a pond I can toss it in. I don't know anything about those type of fish, will it survive in a farm pond with bluegill and bass and such in there?
Curmudgeon
Is it legal to release it in a pond?
Marion
Can only assume it's legal to release in a private pond. It's your own damn property. It better be legalSent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I suppose this is true depending in your pond setup but assuming you have just a big pond not connected in any way to any other waterways then I see no risk of contaminating other bodies of water Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
Curmudgeon
Releasing anything in a private pond - even native fish - requires a license. There are legitimate concerns about disease. That's why there are regs on moving baitfish. I don't know what an algae eater is but probably not native.
