Grass carp-

Looking for a couple grass carp for pond in Catt county, any info where i can purchase a couple would be greatly appreciated.

I believe u have to get a permit from the Dec to get them, we had to a few yrs ago.

Also believe the size of the pond determines how many you can get. I could be wrong but have heard that a few times before.

Also that place won't be selling grass carp till the end of the summer. They said they want to make sure the pond water is cool enough. At least that's what they told my grandparents.

The are called a triploid grass carp.

There is a form you fill out and dec comes and checks your pond out and then you can get them.  A supplier can't sell them to you i believe unless you have a permit from DEC.
