turkeyfeathers
Found your new tractor. What a beast this thing was. Had traffic backed up behind it. Any idea what this puppy costs ? I pulled over , wasn't going to play chicken with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

NYBowhunter
Some type of harvester, looks to have its own storage unit for the crop and a chute that feeds it. Thats huge.
growalot
why conveyor belts? you sure it's not a potato or beet harvester?
Doc
I love these kinds of things. I think I will go to Empire Farm Days this year just to see how much of the new ag equipment I actually can identify. Farming today is not anything like it was when I was involved with it as a kid. Hay bales that you actually pick up? Yes and even hay that was not in bales at all hauled up from the wagon with huge mechanical hay forks? Combines that need a kid with severe hay fever bagging and tying up the bags of wheat? How about hay rakes that had to be manually lifted to rake the hay into rows? And then the one or two bottom plows that that were pulled along on trailer wheels and manually engaged. My Dad was the talk of the town when our farm was one of the first rubber tired tractors in the area. Today's stuff doesn't look anything like any of that old stuff that we used to have. It is just fun to look at.

BizCT
I would think over a million. A simple push mower from Allet can be close to $20K.

dbHunterNY
every farm i can think of has an older combine. most pull a chopper with a tractor. we've got some hills around here though except river bottom along the Hudson.
Buckmaster7600
Not any kind of combine I have ever seen. Combines don't have conveyor belts and have much wider tires to support the weight they haul in the hoppers.Maybe a harvester for potato or beats? We don't have those crops in this side of the state but that would be my guess.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
