Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Expand Seth, It really depends on what you want to get out of it. Membership get you access to branch education events. We have habitat initiatives that members take part in. In our specific branch we are hoping for a spring roll out where branch Officers, volunteers, members attending the banquet and members in general can have access to 4 wheeler size food plotting equipment at a very nominal cost. Specifically planter and lime spreader all set up on a trailer. New York has just put another member on the staff. He is a young forest specialist that is available as a resource to members in evaluating and best utilizing their habitat. NY is actually now 7th for membership in the nation. That is a huge increase and speaks to the strides made here. Depending on where you are located the branches have different focuses. The membership is National and NOT to a specific branch. In reality the membership special is worth it for the magazine alone. (83 cents and issue). The other thing that QDMA puts out that is well worth the read is it's annual report. This is actually available to anyone. https://www.qdma.com/about/whitetail-reports/ Members, volunteers, officers....your level of participation can dictate what you get out of it. $5 is a cheap way to dip your toe in the water and see what it is about in detail.
