Can't wait for opening day. First year ever I'm more excited for ducks than deer. My half full freezer if venison being the main cause I believe.

I always wondered what kind of a sick individual would want to hang around in a treestand hunting deer when they could be hunting ducks.... Much more action, they are easier to carry home and the decoys are lighter...Besides, in my opinion they taste better...Puddle ducks like mallards, woodies and teal are my favorite game meat

Every opening day of shotgun deer I'm in the swamp and pretty much have the whole place to myself
