Those are great, that is a river otter? We had three of them in my sisters pond in Westchester. You could be entertained all day watching them.

Saw two in the Delaware River canoeing with my son about two years ago. Just north of Callicoon.

Maybe this is why they can't get the deer reports counted accurately. Too much time spent looking at otter pics rather than enforce reporting,lol!

Great pics...I saw a couple a few years back on letchworth while bow hunting the bottom..Very active little critters!!! Then one day a couple weeks later on my way out after a morning hunt i met up with a dec guy all dress up with radio tracking stuff.He said they were stocking them there and some had chips in them. Very cool!!!!

About 26 years ago I saw one swimming at Nick's Lake in the ADKS. It was November.I don't believe I have seen a wild one since.
