Both are rabbit dogs I just think that Otis needs to stay focused on rabbit since he is young. Steve D Posted October 25, 2017 Share Posted October 25, 2017 Very good looking dog!!! Beagles normally don't have to be trained for pheasant. Most that run them start them on their own. I had one that started himself on pheasants and grouse. One thing you don't see a lot of is beagles that run birds. But it does happen.
