He picked everything out and paid for it himself with a combination of Birthday, Christmas and dog walking money. He’s got his priorities straight at 14, at least for now lol.

Nice.  Did you have to do any fitting or did it mate right up?   I have one on my savage 220 and didn’t do a thing.  Works great.

It fit good, I may need to address the safety area as it was a bit picky but I didn’t have much time last night to investigate as it was my wife’s birthday and tinkering with a gun wasn’t a great idea. Haha

If I go by the PA game chart it’s at least 50 pounds. 

But seriously, it weighs 5.5 pounds according to Boyd’s so I guess it’s a good 3 pounds more. I prefer a little more weight and it’s still pounds lighter than a couple of rifles I own. Lol.

Boyd's makes a good product..My  buddy in Ontario  bought a walnut one for one of his Garands and it is a beauty...Not all that expensive either, as I recall, although it was a few years ago..
