Thanks you two, glad you enjoy the posts. off to another shoot this morning a little north of here. Probably long ago you never would have thought this would be the outcome from what occurred. Always seems there is a plan for everything. Now here you are maybe making other people's lives better with your input.
Bionic
Done for the day. They did indeed rent me a mini excavator. It was cool to be able to be ME. In shoots of my past, it was BS picking up cups, or tissues, or a bottle of water. This shoot was actually of the activities I do in real life for work. Video was taken of me grabbing the handle on the cage of the cab, and pulling myself up, and in with only the prosthesis, then disengaging the safety column to start operating the machine. Video was taken of me pretending to dig, but I was actually usingvthe machine a if I was actually digging trenches, i made the machine actually move in the motions, not just with the controls. They wanted me to just rotate side to side, so I did....then in between sets, I at one point said screw it, and did my own thing with it. You could see it in their faces the disbelief of how I was making this machine move so gently, and rest the bucket back down on the blacktop, and then move over and move the bucket level just hovered off the ground to, and from the cab. We did some hicking videos, so talking videos, weedwhacking videos, and pics holding pliers, and ratchets. Oh, and a video walking up to the excavator with a mini toolbox in the prosthetic hand, setting it down on the cabs floor. we then went to a nice Mexican restaurant with the woman who gave me this opportunity. She took us to her favorite place, and then showed us the area a little where she grew up, and pointed out a few cool icons, and must know cool facts. it was nice. Bionic
Going to Stubb’s BBQ at 6pm. Apparently it’s the same as the sauce you can buy in stores
Bionic
So, we met up with Jenn’s friend, and the friend’s new boyfriend. The friend moved down here in April, and we both had neber met her boyfriend until tonight. He was SUCH a d-bag. A vaping, red dodge dart driving judgemental guy who ONLY talked about himself, and what he does, and kept pulling his damn phone out to show us pics of random BS. What a waste of my time. Even Jenn was like WTF. anyways, enough of that! We did eat at Stubb’s BBQ. I had 14 hr brisket, home style sausage, and pulled pork, with sides that included mac-n-cheese, and hand cut fries. It was good, I wasn’t blown away though. It was a nice meal though. about half way through dinner I had already had enough of this guy, and could no longer pretend I could tolerate his arrogance, and “oh wow’d” him to death. About 2.5 hrs later we finally left. Thankfully, and unfortunately, they had picked us up from our hotel, so we were stuck with them at this point. Well Jenn, and the girl are pretty good friends, so the girls wanted to go out for a drink, I was devastated lol. So here we all go to 6th street. Cops literally block off, and shut vehicle traffic down on a few blocks or so of 6th, for all the bars. Jenn, and I are NOT bar people, but when away sometimes 1 or 2 drinks in a classy place with an older crowd is a nice time. Sooo, we walked up and doen the strip, and ended up in Coyote Ugly”. They had chicks in cut up sports bras, tight tanks, and short jean shorts dancing on top of the bar. Some giros had bras on, underwear bottoms. On the streets a few women were walking around in lingerie.

Bionic
So today concluded my photoshoot. It was a lot of fun this trip, and really feel that I made the marketer happy. I feel good about it. The excavator really left some impressions with some of the higher ups. They one big deal in Germany said he is going to show this globally! Today was a camping scene, Jenn & I were setting up a tent, and I was actually cooking eggs, bacon, and sausage on the fire with a Greifer terminal device. We then walked down the river, which was beautiful, water was greenish it was soooo clear. Limestone bedded, and we were filmed walking, and skipping rocks. Later on we stopped at the marketers home, and freshened up a little. Her, and her husband took us to this amazing restaurant overlooking Lake Travis. Unreal views, it was such a blast, and it was our first time meeting her husband, and we all clicked very well. We had such a great time. We all took a bunch of pics. I saw cactus for the first time in my life, and I was NOT expecting that! I walked around the campsite they rented, looked just over this little curve, and saw tons of little rounded cacti! I was so excited about that! Then all of a sudden Jenn found an armadillo shell, yet something else farthest from my mind that I thought I would see. What a GREAT experience that I cannot be any happier about! Restaurant pics, and views.

Robhuntandfish
does the hand sense pressure/grip to keep from having too much pressure or is that all controlled by your actions? - cool video
