zeus1gdsm
Of my first ever bird. Walking in had gobbles. Located then on the roost. Not enough time to set up close enough and call them. We crawled up to top of a hill in the field. About 80-100yards off them. They flew down. We layed down on either side behind a tom decoy. At the top of the hill in the field. Took the pair at 30 yards Doubled up. Almost 21lbs. Inch spurs. 9inch beard Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Maybe I need to take up golf?Too be honest it felt a little less sporting those birds were just seeing red their whole 50 yard run straight at us. Wasn't until they fully crested the hill 30 yards from us that they saw our shapes and looked about to hang up.Was a hell of a rush though seeing them come running straight at us.Definitely not something I would do in the woods, or public land, or heck even land that other people hunted. But at the top of a hill in a giant private field I felt safe enough that we weren't going to catch lead.Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
