Dont believe high power rifle is allowed or safe where most of fields shots are taken in Jersey, maybe im wrong but believe thats the case. Difference in shooting a deer or turkey with a bow from a woodchuck pistolp?

Rifles are allowed in NJ for chucks... used to hunt them with rifles years ago, we would spot them and try to get as far as possible from them for the shot. The one chuck in the video at the end is a 40 yard head shot, my rangefinder read 42 yards so I held it on it's head, it was 40! The neck shot was 35 yards and the others were 20 and 25 yards.

Great video...

At what yardage did you shoot most of the chucks?

Did you shoot out of a blind or did you do a sight & stalk?

And... was that pair of woodchucks in a grape vine?

They were 20-40 yards. All sight & stalk, use the hedgerows or just inside of the woods. I don't know what kind of bush that was they were sitting on, their hole was below them, the one didn't make it to the hole!  ;)
