Anyone eat fawn?

I always thought there was a 3 point rule when shooting deer.  That they have to be of a minimum age before you can harvest them.

I heard it was 8 point outside the ears  :D

You guys are to funny, I wonder if there are any other hunting sites that a topic can go from talking about eating fawns, to inuendos, to name calling to homosexual perversion and back to eating fawns. To funny.

Its a great site, isnt it?  :)

One other "recipe"..take the back leg to a smokehouse, have them smoke it whole for you.

There were some references to veal - in the cattle business there's a reason the older cattle are labeled "cutters and canners" - the younger ones are generally what are used for the better cuts and what you find on the supermarket shelves.

While we are on the subject of Fawns I saw two about 3 weeks ago. In the field across from my house two does each had a fawn. But haven't seen them since, have seem many deer in the same field but not the fawns. What do you think happened to them any suggestions. I haven't been hearing any coyotes but it may be a possibility.
