Thanks Biz! I sure hope so, we are both due!

My blind is 37 miles away from this spot, but actually will be bringing it to this spot.  Such a thick few acres of saplings.  I have a treestand above this spot as in past it a a few hundred feet....i want to set a blind in this on the edge, and snipe deer with my awaited crossbow. Good luck.

Just beaking Bizs chops Bionic since he is anti treestand I became anti ground hunting to even things out.   Good luck from the blind. I am just kidding.

But you hunted from ground blind the other day. You are part of the movement. Be proud!

Oh i know you are Moog! I was jk back with the confused button, haha.  I personally don't like ground blinds, but in this specific location, I feel I have no other choice.  I am not the one scared of heights :mosking:

Managed to check 3 cams yesterday.   I have decent movement by one cam, which is coincidentally near where I took my big buck here in 2014.  So i plopped my blind nearby within shot distance.  Bucks are slowly starting to show on the cams.
Don't forget to brush it in nice

Which i didn't do, and I am worried about.

I wasn't sure which was worse, moving things around making all that noise, or leaving this up tucked up against some small pines

You may be alright as they are interested in getting tail and not much else but when you can try and brush in a little. I leave mine in the Same spot year round so they are used to mine. They see it spring, summer fall winter and it never tries to stab them

A nice buck walked by my blind at about 10 feet.  My blind is literally just out of view to the right! Thats 2 legal deer here, that i would be thrilled to death to get. Tough hunting here, and these are respectable bucks for sure here.  Very excited!

6:30pm last night after I left.

Don't get too discouraged Biz, I get the same exact way, i have not had a shot opportunity here at home since 2015, in which I was dumb, and passed the 7 pointer up.  We have AR's, and it was early morning of opening day of gun.  I come inside some evenings, and am a grouchy person, it does get old, but keep going out Biz.  I saw that post about you getting ready to hang up the bows.  By the way, I hunt this over 200 hrs each season, I would say.  Dark to dark every weekend,  I take first WEEK of gun off, sit dark to dark, and even did that bow my first bow season, full week sit.  After work until time gets moved back the hour, I sit here after work 4:30-sunset...

I can’t hunt this week due to work. So this afternoon was my last sit before gunseason, but I gave it up.

630pm is a good time! Not far from legal light
