This is what happens when you take the wife shopping.Not only do we go get carpet we come home with another project has been purchased now the Kitchen floor looks bad.I guess this happens all the time but why durring the hunting season.

No kidding Dom.......I have a new front door sitting in my garage.  My boss is going to help with the install, at this point we'll probably do it the first or second week of November......THE RUT!! 

Only obviously he's not a hunter and hence could GAF.

I work around the house all year! And bust my butt even in the summer when it's burtal hot! I like my house and camp nice! But once October gets here! The ole lady knows to leave me alone until January. And that's if im not ice fishing! This is my time of the year! She don't like it! Well there's the door!

The front door was also in Her mind set I said we need to order that just to get more time in the woods.Women are crazy no doubt.We spent more in one day for the stuff she wanted than what I have spent in twenty+years of hunting.

That is why every year I mark the dates of all the seasons on the calendar. When they start & end.  Thanks to coyotes I am good til the end of March unless it is really , really important.

I spoke too soon in the above post.  We did the door two days later!!

It's nice to see a project completed after years of procrastination.....(still not done though, I have to order a new storm door!)  Were OK for a bit, she's weather tight and hunting season is in HIGH gear.

How about...why did agree that mrs crappy can fly off to Ireland today and not come back until next THURSDAY?!? Playing Mr mom to three kids(14,13,13) during one of the best times to be in the woods is a bit crushing. Why the hell did I paint 3+ plus rooms in prep for the season?!?
