I have had to Jump Start my battery on my Honda Rancher 420 about 4 times in the past two weeks . I thought the hard starting might have been a fouled spark plug . After having it not start when I was hunting yesterday I decided it was time to replace the battery . it was the original battery and was 9 years old . Bought an Interstate battery to replace the  YUASA  battery . Only got 9 years out of that battery .

9 years is a good long life.  Get another YUASA.  Get a trickle charger if you dont have one already.  PAid about $65 for mine.  OTherwise, buy a cheapie and swap it out every 3 years, same price.

FYI you can buy a pull start kit for that 420 rancher

9 Years !! Heck I'd love to get 3 yrs out of mine. Usually 1 yr until I went with a glasmat that's up to two.

I replaced mine on my grizzly a few years ago, lasted maybe 5?

Just replaced my battery this year , do not want to be stuck in the woods !

I've got an 03 Grizz 660 since new. I think I'm on my 4th battery including the original. And this one cranks slow on a morning like today.

Coming up on 3 years on my brute force 750s battery. Still cranks over fine. Hoping it makes it through the winter at least.

My buddy just put a lithium ion battery on his sportsman 1000. It was like $200 but they are supposed to be much better than the standard acid style. I’ll see how it does on his wheeler before I try one for mine.
