i am going to do a batch soon also. what did you do about 2.5 gallons?

i figured that.. i only saw the 24 case you had bottled. so what did you get around 40 something bottles capped?

Yeah, next time I want to figure out a better way to siphon to leave that cake at the bottom, maybe even a little more water during the brewing process to have like 5 and 1/2 gallons of brew?

My buddy did a strainer on the rack to secondary, but I opted to not go to secondary  (primary for 5 + weeks) and I didnt agree with his process which added way to much movement / air when he racked.

Ahh, brings back memories of exploding bottles in the basement when my father was into beer/wine making.

Bottle bombs waiting for my first... I put the cases in garbage bags in case.

they make special siphons that take you beer out and add it to a bottle with little to no air. very easy and it makes racking better for your brew, it takes awhile but it works...

i put my bottles in a empty cooler just incase lol

never had one pop yet... if you add the right amount of brew to the right amount of sugar you will be fine, lets hope lol

Yeah I think I have that, but it still sucks up the junk, I gotta use that clip next time I guess.

I brewed it before the baby was born   - Actually the day before my daughter was born.

All I gotta say, is OH MY GOD, its so freaking good.  Ultra hoppy just how I like it.
