Yeah, next time I want to figure out a better way to siphon to leave that cake at the bottom, maybe even a little more water during the brewing process to have like 5 and 1/2 gallons of brew? burmjohn Posted July 18, 2011 Author Share Posted July 18, 2011 My buddy did a strainer on the rack to secondary, but I opted to not go to secondary (primary for 5 + weeks) and I didnt agree with his process which added way to much movement / air when he racked. Geno C Posted July 18, 2011 Share Posted July 18, 2011 they make special siphons that take you beer out and add it to a bottle with little to no air. very easy and it makes racking better for your brew, it takes awhile but it works...
