Vortex Razor Scope deal

Euro-optics is selling the vortex razor lh 2-10x40 for $499 right now.  Its normally an 800-900 scope.  Just an FYI for anyone interested.  I recall when they clearanced all of their Zeiss Conquest for a deal and I picked up 2.  A year later you could sell them used for more than they cost.  They do it when a model is being discontinued.  Reviews on this scope are excellent.

By the way, I love the G4 BDC reticle.  I don't need a scope or I would pick one up.  Eye box is also reported as excellent.

Vortex has discontinued this model so the dealer is selling them off at a good price.

When I checked I saw Euro Optic is also selling at this price the ones with the HSR-4  reticle.

I too have a couple of scopes in my cabinet with no gun to put them on......yet. Otherwise, this would be a great one to jump on!

By the way, as you know, I ended up with one of those Zeiss Conquest scopes you bought. It is by far the best glass I have, and I have some other nice Leupold and Nikon glass.

It is a very good scope. BTW, that reticle (that you like) was aided in design by Ilya Koshkin. He is an optics expert, and a great guy to boot. He tests and reviews scopes, and I have bought several scopes from him when the tests were concluded. His website (Optics Thoughts) is full of great info. Check it out.

You have quite a few nice scopes yourself there bugs.  My new favorite is a Leupy vx6 hd 3-18x50.  Eye box is soooo forgiving even at high mag and it has the CDS turret!

I do indeed! Thanks. BTW, that Leupy VX6 is a very nice scope. A man could do a lot worse! Good luck.
